- To strip off existing roof materials to main roof of all battens and flashing etc.
- To clean down existing roof rafters and to allow for treating, if necessary, of all timbers before re-covering.
- To supply and fit lead work flashing around the chimney stack to a watertight finish.

- To supply and lay a new reinforced roofing felt, type BS747 underlay, lapping joints a minimum of 100mm and to be secured with 50mm galvanised nails.
- To provide and fit 18mm x 38mm tantalised treated timber battens secured and fixed with 50mm galvanised nails.
- To supply and fit man-made non asbestos slate tile nailed down every tile with 40mm copperhead nails to allow for suitable ventilation to roof area.
- To supply and fix a 225mm code 4 lead flashings along parapet walls.
